The Master Pull SBA10000 is designed specifically for use with synthetic rope. Weighing in at only 1 lb, this snatch block is just like the synthetic winch lines it is made for: lightweight yet extremely strong. Many conventional snatch blocks are heavy, large, and cumbersome. They take up unnecessary space in the vehicle and make rigging more difficult.

With a breaking strength of 10,000 lbs, the SBA10000 has a maximum load of 5,000 lbs with a 2:1 safety factor.

An oil impregnated nylon sheave is used to reduce weight and provide a smooth contact surface for synthetic rope. The nylon sheave is self lubricating and does not require a bearing, making the snatch block maintenance free.

Note: For synthetic rope only! Do not use with steel cable

    I recently got both this snatch block and one of Master Pull's synthetic winch extensions. I can't imagine how anyone could have done a better job making these. The snatch block, as advertised, has all smooth edges and is very generously proportioned so your line doesn't have to make a tight turn around the pulley. There were no blemishes or defects that could be observed. All items were well protected during shipment. This is the sort of tool that should be able to be passed down several generations.
